Ad Nauseam, Part 2

Remember this?

Well, guess what. Now there is a sequel to ad nauseam. It is part 2 from the same source as before, but this time the topic is on another matter.

As before, there are many, many comments. However, there really are only a limited number of people making the comments which go around in circles containing name-calling, half-truths, selective reasoning, speculation, and nauseating verbiage.

Take a look-see at
“Stainbrook’s quest to end the culture of corruption off to a questionable start…”

  2. While there are a few intelligent coments by a few people on that thread as well as on the other ad nauseam thread to which I highlighted, it just goes to show you that the number of comments does not reflect the actual number of the people making comments nor does it reflect the quality of the comments. It also is a sad reflection on the participating audience of the blogosphere and dare I say people in general.

    Roland,

There certainly do appear to be some relationships to the length of a string and the level of nonsense that enters it. My own research into this area has come up with the following theory:

“The level of intelligence and manners in any given group has an inverse relationship to its size.”

Such knowledge often makes me grateful over the relatively tiny (though normally polite) comments on my own nonsense.

  4. Long string = Less intelligence + Less manners
