Trade School

I wonder how many people in the USA go to a trade school so that they will have marketable job skills upon graduation.

I read over at GoCollege.com that Vocational and Trade Schools are a growing trend and that there are advantages to learning a trade.

From Education Guys, I have read that more and more people of all ages are going to, or returning to, college to get a degree, but that some people fail to realize the option of pursuing a degree at a trade school.

Trade-School.org is a website that has a guide to trade schools and programs in which you may search its directory of schools by state, city and trade specialty.

Another comprehensive trade school directory may be found at Trade-Schools.net.

One Response to Trade School

  1. Judy says:

For as long as I can remember I have been a supporter of the Trades. Not everyone can get a degree to be a teacher or doctor or lawyer or 100’s of other degrees. After all, even a Doctor needs to have builders to build a house. Or a plumber to fix a toilet. The trades fill a need in every aspect of our daily lives. They build our cars, houses, boats and make our lives better. I could go on and on but you get my drift. So thank you trade people for all you do and keep up the good work!
