A Bout with Gout

I have heard people say that they have had a bout with gout, so I thought I would do a Roland’s Ramblings about gout.

Gout is a kind of arthritis that occurs when uric acid builds up in the joints.

MedicineNet tells us that an overload of uric acid leads to a formation of tiny crystals of urate that deposit in the body, especially in the joints. You may read the entire article by clicking your mouse over to Gout and Hyperuricemia.

If you would like yet another internet resource about gout, you may go over to GOUT.com with its “fight for fewer flares.”

  1. As a gout sufferer I have more than a passing interest in the subject already.

I would prefer to not know more, but to ignore the facts and information would be foolish.

Thank You for the links Amigo!
