Spam Sightings

Illnesses have been plaguing several of my family members lately requiring my utmost attention. The mishappenstances (a somewhat commonly used word of which I find in none of the internet dictionaries that combines the prefix “mis” with the plural of the word “happenstance”) have been in such quantity, frequency, and severity as to be very disconcerting to me personally stressing me to the limits and reminding me of the Book of Job.

Consequently, it was with some dismay that whilst eating a spam sandwich during today’s first course of e-mail perusal, I encountered some spam from the e-mail address belonging to Barry Goldberg of Wood Hammocks out of New Canaan, Connecticut. I don’t know that I can fault Barry Goldberg, however, because I have also been the recipient of other spam that indicated the sending address of one of my brothers, another that was my wife’s e-mail address, a couple others of friends, and more from familiar e-mail addresses.

I have written of spam and spam before. I have sighted spam and I have cited spam. Now, I know that I am not the only person who can lay claim to sighting or citing spam, but we can all take a good look at Spam Sightings.

God forbid that you should go through what Job did,poo-poo-poo. And as far as spam is concerned, feh! And you know what I am talking about, that stuff that comes in a can. I understand that the people who were on the disabled ship recently were given spam. Again, I say FEH! As far as everyone being sick, you must stay well and strong. As it is said, and I do not know who said it, “this too will pass.”
