What’s this stuff about statins?

Many people are taking a variety of forms of statins as recommended by their primary medical care provider in order to assist in the control of high cholesterol.

However, I find it interesting that many people take these statins without ever asking the doctor what it’s all about, or inquiring about possible adverse side effects of the statins, or whether there are alternatives, etc. Along those lines, I suggest you take a look at the following web pages (just click on the title and a new browser page will open for you):
Statins: Are these cholesterol-lowering drugs right for you?
The Major Side Effects of Statin Drugs
Statin Adverse Effects
Alternatives to Statins

I also recommend that folks who are ingesting statins keep up on the latest news. I’ll even help you to do so, all you need do is to click onto Statins News and then you can take it from there for yourself.
