The Maine Event

“What is now the state of Maine was, before statehood, called the District of Maine and belonged to Massachusetts.” ref: Statehood Dates, 50States.com.

Wow, when I first looked at the title, I thought it was going to be about the movie, The Main Event! You are so good at your titles! Oh, and it was interesting, thanks! I’ve never been to Maine, but would love to visit that state this summer, maybe!
