Roland Hansen and Tuesdays with Morrie

I remember the time when I was adjunct faculty at Owens Community College and one of my students at the conclusion of the term told me that I reminded her of Morrie in the book Tuesdays with Morrie. I thanked her at the time; however I really was unaware of that which she was really saying to me until later when I actually read the book Tuesdays with Morrie. Then, later I watched the movie Tuesdays with Morrie.

That student was one of a few who made me realize how much I truly enjoyed teaching at the college level, both at Owens Community College and at The University of Toledo. To know that I had made a positive impact on someone’s life is truly rewarding. That intrinsic reward is beyond compare.
