Laugh and Laughter

There is laugh; and, there is laughter. Laugh is the verb; laughter is the noun. Although, it has been said that someone had a good laugh or got the last laugh; and, that laugh is a noun, not a verb. But, I laugh at all that and say that I better hold up on that line of thought before I confuse myself. Go over this-a-way for more on that line of thought.
