The Great McDonald’s Cheeseburger Controversy!

The news is all over the internet about The Great McDonald’s Cheeseburger Controversy, as I call it. I suppose I could also refer to it as The McDonald’s Cheeseburger Scandal. Can you believe that vandalism is the result of a McDonald’s cheeseburger? How can there be such controversy over a “simple” McDonald’s cheeseburger?

Well, learn for yourself. Click on over to read the news story of May 17, 2012, Angered By “Messed Up” McDonald’s Cheeseburgers, Tennessee Duo Returns To Vandalize Eatery, published by the smoking gun.

You may even wish to click over to read McDonald’s Vandalized by Dissatisfied Cheeseburger Customers published May 21, 2012 in the International Business Times.

As an aside, Nutritionist: McDonald’s cheeseburger remains the same year later by Andrew Moran and published on December 29, 2011 is an interesting article that I read over at Digital Journal.

All this kind of reminds me of the previous Roland’s Ramblings I authored on January 25, 2012; you know, this one: Billionaire Ronald McDonald; McDonald’s Burgers.

  2. FYI – McDonald’s is now running a promotion for its new Cherry Berry Chiller. Being a diabetic, I was interested in its nutritional value, but more specifically the sugar content. So, later in the afternoon of this blog entry, The Great McDonald’s Cheeseburger Controversy!, I went to a nearby McDonald.s and asked about the sugar content. I was told that they did not have anything in print but that I could call the toll-free telephone number for McDonald’s to obtain the information I was seeking.

Rather than making a telephone call, I went onto the information highway of the world wide web, the internet. Lo and behold, I found that which I sought. The following information about the Cherry Berry Chiller is directly from the web pages:
