Glimpses of Heaven. Robert Quillen.

“There are glimpses of heaven to us in every act, or thought, or word, that raises us above ourselves.” ~ Robert Quillen (1887-1948).

In regards to that phrase “glimpses of heaven” of Robert Quillen, read this about Robert Quillen:

“He was a writer of paragraphs and short editorials. He always hoped to write something of permanent value, but the business of making a living took most of his time and he never got around to it. In his youth he felt an urge to reform the world, but during the latter years of his life he decided that he would be doing rather well if he kept himself out of jail.”

That is part of the obituary written about Robert Quillen by none other than Robert Quillen himself that he had written sixteen years prior to his death.
